Costs
No surprises. Here's exactly what's involved financially at every stage, for buyers and sellers alike. You'll be walked through it in the Room as your deal progresses, available only privately and securely to those involved.
Trial Fee
A trial fee of AED 300 is arranged and confirmed with ESKA before each trial. The AED 300 trial fee supports the coordination of your trial and helps ensure that each horse is presented to serious, genuinely interested buyers, keeping the trial experience focused and valuable for both sides. This fee is non-refundable once paid.
Seller's Commission
Charged to the seller, and only once a sale is completed, never before.
For sellers managing their own listing, photos, and videos.
ESKA visits the stable to create the horse's photos and video, builds and optimizes the listing, and provides marketing support throughout.
Additional Services
Optional extras, paid by the buyer, available once a sale is completed.
Ownership Transfer
ESKA coordinates the formal transfer of ownership with the UAEERF, ensuring the horse's passport and FEI records are correctly updated.
Transport Coordination
Arranged with our trusted transport partners, with live updates, getting the horse safely to its new home.
Deposit & Final Payment
Loved the horse at trial? If you don't want to risk losing it while you finalise your decision, you can optionally reserve it with a 10% deposit.
- 10% deposit: reserves the horse for an agreed period and forms part of the purchase price.
- Ready to proceed? Pay the remaining 90% to complete the purchase.
- Change your mind? The deposit is handled according to the agreed reservation terms.
- Veterinary concerns? If the horse does not meet the agreed veterinary requirements, the deposit is handled according to the agreed terms.
- Reservation expires? If no decision is made within the agreed period, the reservation ends and the deposit is handled according to the agreed terms.
Everything is recorded in your Room.
Before paying a deposit, you'll receive a Horse Reservation Agreement outlining the reservation period, payment, refund and withdrawal terms for your review and approval.
Vet Check
Gives you full peace of mind before moving forward, arranged once a horse is shortlisted.
- Use your own vet, or one of ESKA's trusted, unbiased vets
- An additional cost, covered by the buyer
- The report, and any x-rays, go straight into the Room, visible only to you, the seller, and ESKA
